Competition Compliance Statement

Mondi AG ("Mondi") organises the event "The Art of eCommerce (packaging)" to be held in Vienna, Austria, on 21 May 2026. This event features thought-provoking guest speeches, expert keynotes, and panel discussions on trends, insights, the market, and priorities in eCommerce, its packaging and logistics, relevant to the industry as a whole.

The event aims to gather leading companies in the sector, including online retailers, carriers, OEM, market research companies, and our Mondi eCommerce team. This event is clearly not intended to influence the competitive decisions of independent companies and their representatives attending this event, nor in any way to restrict competition among such companies/representatives or vis-à-vis third parties.

At the same time, Mondi is aware that this event brings together representatives, some of which compete against each other. While none of the items on our agenda are inclined to be competitively sensitive, and there is no attempt by Mondi to restrain competition in any manner, Mondi recognises the possibility that the event could be seen as a potential opportunity for anticompetitive conduct. For this reason, Mondi takes the opportunity, through this Competition Compliance Statement, to make clear its unequivocal support for the policy of competition served by the antitrust laws and its uncompromising intent to comply strictly in all respects with these laws:

  • Mondi is fully committed to complying with its obligations under the applicable competition law regimes of the EU.
  • Attendees at this event must not enter into any discussion, activity or conduct that may, in any way, infringe applicable competition laws. They confirm to have understood and accepted this obligation when attending the event.
  • The obligation to adhere to competition laws pursuant to point 2 above includes, by way of example only, a commitment by attendees not to discuss, communicate or exchange any commercially sensitive information (whether before, during or after the event), including any non-public information relating to prices, capacities, costs, revenues, trading terms and conditions or purchasing strategies, or discuss taking collective action against any organisation or third party in response to industry pressure.
  • Attendees at this event are responsible for complying with the requirements of competition laws. This implies they should familiarise themselves with their legal obligations in case of doubt.
